Even if you're not a Steeler's fan, you will love
The Cab!

Why would non-Steelers fans want to subject themselves to nauseating
black and gold painted walls, with Pittsburgh Steelers memorabilia
plastered all over it or even to the obnoxious fans' cheers and
profanity during Sunday night's play-off game? I'll tell you why.
Good food. If it isn't blatantly obvious from its bright yellow
exterior, The Cab on West Ridge Road is a Steelers bar. If you can
just brush that aside long enough to order food, it's worth it.
The fries and coleslaw that are served with their burgers and subs
seriously are mouth-watering. The fries are cut slightly thinner
and are less crisp than most places. They are seasoned just right
to make a bite of fries and coleslaw together on your fork a fabulous
combination. I ordered the Greek steak sub Sunday and man was it
good with Greek sauce just oozing out of it. For a brief moment,
I was so immersed in my food that I forgot I was surrounded by hollering
maniacs. It was all good. It was obvious that no one at my table
was rooting for the Steelers, and yet still had a blast throwing
harassing comments back and forth with the other bar patrons when
Cincinnati or Pittsburgh scored. No fist fights or people getting
too out of hand, just loud. The bar usually has some kind of food
special, and its all like $4-5. Not bad. I've tried the wings, the
pulled pork, and it was all delicious. I don't think I can bring
myself to order the Rothlis "burger" though even if the
ingredients sound good: ranch dressing, provolone, and bacon. It's
just the principal of the thing. Anyways, I learned if I can brave
The Cab even during an intense playoff game to eat, than I can go
there anytime without worry to get my food fix. If you can just
look past the decor and the terrible-towel-whipping customers, it's
worth the trip.
